Sandburg alumna Anya Pshenychny ‘10 was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, Anya was featured in The Register-Mail as part of a two-part series in April (if you have an online subscription to The Register-Mail: April 20 edition, April 21 edition). She immigrated to the United States in 1994, moved to Galesburg in 1997, graduated from Sandburg in 2010, and later graduated from Columbia College with a bachelor’s degree in marketing communication. She currently works as an account executive at Paramount. Earlier this year, she was recognized as a Chicago Advertising Federation Rising Star for her contributions to the Chicago advertising industry. Anya participates in the following two organizations: Chicago Interactive Marketing Association and She Runs It.
